Amount of Scholarship:

Varying amount not to exceed $500.00 per year.

Criteria:

• Preference will be given to immediate family member of a Southwest section (son or daughter).

  1. A non section student from the Dona Ana Branch Community Collage Water Technology will be eligible if there is no applicants in our main preference group.

• A second year full-time student pursuing a degree in any collage.
• Student must have a 2.5 or better GPA. (Transcript for proof)
• Demonstrate a need for financial assistance to obtain their education.
• Applicant must submit an essay describing his\her career goals.

Committee:

• Committee should consists of a chairman and three other committee members.
• Committee should be appointed by a present association officers with association members approval.
• Committee members cannot have a son\daughter as an applicants for the scholarship.

All information must be turned in to the scholarship committee chairman by February 12, 2000. Recipient must be able to attend the award banquet to accept the award.
